Since this time last year, Australians have been able to complete Commonwealth statutory declarations online.
No more printing or searching for a witness. It's quick, secure, and convenient. You can simply sign in to myGov using your Digital ID, complete the declaration and download it.
We collaborated with Services Australia and Attorney-General’s Department to make it easier for people to access government services and fulfil their legal obligations. This is a great example of how we can improve services when we partner with agencies across government.
This milestone paves the way for future digital advancements and shows that simplifying and modernising processes and regulations like this can make life easier for Australians.
