COMCAR
- is part of the Department of Finance and is the Commonwealth Government’s car-with-driver service.
- provides high quality, secure and confidential transport services to the Governor-General, current and former Prime Ministers, Senators and Members of Parliament, the Federal Judiciary, Heads of Government, visiting dignitaries and major events nationwide
- has a national presence, with drivers located in each state and territory across Australia
- maintains a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week reservation and driver service.

Responsibilities of a COMCAR driver
COMCAR drivers
- provide car-with-driver services in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner to all clients
- maintain a professional appearance at all times
- carry luggage, open vehicle doors and assist passengers
- proactively maintain the vehicles cleanliness to ensure a high level of presentation
- observe confidentiality protocols, discretion and business policies and procedures, including maintenance of accurate documentation
- carry out vehicle cleaning, administrative and ad hoc depot duties.
