Gender Equality Action Plan 2017-19

The Department of Finance is currently updating its plans and strategies.

In May 2016, the Australian Public Service Gender Equality Strategy 2016-19 was launched to address gender imbalance, and position the APS as a leader in gender equality.

Finance has developed an action plan using the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) diagnostic tool, which assessed our current gender equality status and gave us a realistic baseline. The action plan outlines activities to strengthen our gender equality indicators and performance.
