Block 48 - Wallaroo Road, Hall, ACT
Following an Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 Act (EPBC Act) approval (refer EPBC 2017/8028) in February 2019, Finance has secured an offset site at Block 48, Wallaroo Road, Hall, ACT (Block 48 Hall) through a Conservation Management Agreement with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
The site functions as an offset site for land that was cleared in association with the development of Blocks 3 and 15, Section 22, Barton, ACT.
Block 48 Hall comprises approximately 12.7 hectares of natural temperate grassland and golden sun moth habitat.
Finance is meeting its management obligations including its compliance monitoring and reporting requirements as per the EPBC Act approval conditions.
