Finance participates in a range of programs aimed at attracting employees who are passionate about digital technologies and building their career in this field.
Program requirements and structure are detailed below. Recruitment is managed by the APSC, and more details can be found on the Digital Profession - Emerging talent programs page.
Digital Cadetship Program
The Cadetship Program is for current undergraduate or postgraduate students studying a degree in a digital or technology-related field who have completed the equivalent of one full year of study. Cadets work a minimum of 2 days per week at Finance, negotiable around university study requirements.
Digital Graduate Program
The Digital Graduate Program is a recruitment stream within the Australian Government Graduate Program. Finance seeks to recruit graduates from this stream each year. This pathway is open to people who have completed a university degree in a digital or technical field within the last 5 years.
Our Digital Graduates are part of the Finance Graduate Program. They participate in specialised training throughout the graduate year, which includes membership of, and attendance at workshops run by, the Australian Computing Society (ACS).
