Locations
Finance is located in Canberra at One Canberra Avenue, Forrest and also has a facility in Fyshwick. We also have limited staffing in other major capital cities around Australia as part of Ministerial and Parliamentary Services and COMCAR.
Coffee shop/cafeteria
One Canberra Avenue Forrest has a cafe in the main atrium. It is also within walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops.
Health and fitness
Finance has a well equipped gym located at One Canberra Avenue, established to assist staff in the achievement of a healthy lifestyle. Membership is free, subject to a membership application and a pre-exercise questionnaire.
Carer’s room and support for breastfeeding
Our carer's rooms provide a temporary, safe and quiet work place to enable staff to carry out aspects of their normal work while caring for their dependant(s). It is an alternative to taking leave in order to care for a dependant(s) for whom care is temporarily unavailable.
Finance is an accredited Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace, and has a private mother's room to support breastfeeding mothers in their return to work. Our carer's rooms can also be used for this purpose.
