The Australian Government Data System identifies data related initiatives across the Australian Government and how they complement each other.
What is the data system?
The data system is complex, with many intersecting elements and responsibilities across the Australian Public Service. This resource aims to provide visibility of key initiatives and engagement with the initiatives.
Aligned to the APS Data Capability Framework, this resource clusters data initiatives against Data Lifecycle Categories and provides links to resources to provide additional information.
Greater understanding of initiatives in train will assist connections and improve how agencies conduct data activities to achieve the Government’s data agenda as set out in the Data and Digital Government Strategy.
