The purpose of the Public Sector Data Network (PSDN) is for senior public sector data leaders to come together to share ideas and innovations in public sector data management and analytics. The PSDN assists data sharing by:
- making connections and developing networks across jurisdictions to facilitate data sharing
- understanding engagement pathways and processes between jurisdictions
- identifying “what is out there” and the rules for sharing.
The hosting of the PSDN rotates between states and territories and the secretariat rotates between host jurisdictions. Host jurisdictions take the opportunity of PSDN to showcase innovative data management and digital service delivery projects to a national audience.
There are usually 3-4 meetings a year and guest speakers may come from the public sector, academia or the community sector. The next meeting will be held in Brisbane. The agenda and further information will be posted on this page once finalised.
