The role of the Procurement Coordinator is to consider complaints where:

  • you consider the specifications of the tender were of such a nature that you consider you were prevented from preparing a competitive tender response, or
  • you consider the appointment of a particular successful tenderer was inconsistent with Australian Government policy (such as the Fair Work Principles).

Before lodging a complaint with the Procurement Coordinator, you should have raised the issue with the relevant Agency that conducted the tender process you are referring to. In lodging your complaint, please include a statement of the steps taken with the Agency to resolve the issue, and the Agency’s response.

Following submission, if receipt of your complaint has not been acknowledged after three business days, please email ProcurementCoordinator@finance.gov.au
