Changes to the Flipchart – 1 July 2022
A new Flipchart of PGPA Act Commonwealth entities and companies has been issued on the Finance website today, 1 July 2022.
The updated Flipchart reflects the Machinery of Government changes in the Administrative Arrangements Order, made by the Governor-General on 23 June 2022 (commencing on 1 July 2022) and the creation of two new government portfolios.
In summary, the Machinery of Government changes entailed:
- 2 additional Departments of State created, to be named ‘the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water’ and ‘the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations’
- 5 existing Departments of State renamed
- 20 non-corporate Commonwealth entities moved portfolios
- 9 corporate Commonwealth entities moved portfolios
- 1 Commonwealth company moved portfolios.
