This year we celebrated the second Specialist Investment Vehicles (SIV) Forum that brought together over 70 representatives across portfolio departments and all SIVs including:
- Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP)
- Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA)
- Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC)
- Export Finance Australia (EFA)
- Housing Australia
- Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF)
- National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC)
- Regional Investment Corporation (RIC)
The theme of the forum focused on exploring how SIVs can protect and support the economic resilience and security of Australia. The forum included insightful presentations on the investment global outlook from the Future Fund, addressing global market competition, First Nations economic empowerment, Future Made in Australia and concluded with a panel discussion on crowding-in private investment and where SIVs have been the catalyst in securing this private investment.
The forum continues to be an important annual event that helps strengthen Finance's relationship with other portfolio departments and SIVs by providing a unique opportunity for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and discussions on critical issues.
