The Department of Finance established the Government Business Enterprise (GBE) Forum in 2018 as part of the Commonwealth’s commitment to ensuring the highest standards of governance and accountability are applied to the oversite of GBEs.
The GBE Forum is an opportunity for Company Secretaries, Chief Financial Officers and Government Relations Officers from each of the Commonwealth’s nine GBEs, as well as Shareholder agency representatives to discuss best practice governance policies and shared learnings.
Panel discussions and presentations at recent GBE Forums have focused on best practice corporate planning processes, procurement plans, reviewing annual report processes and discussion on the GBE Guidelines.
The GBE Forum also provides an opportunity to bring awareness to other areas of interest.
