Access To Land
Under Part III of the Lands Acquisition Act 1989 [
] the Minister may authorise a person to:
- enter on and examine land to ascertain whether the land is suitable for a public purpose; or
- enter on and temporarily occupy land for the purpose of carrying out works connected with a public purpose.
At least 7 days notice is to be given to the owners of interests in such land.
