Travel Management Services – QBT Pty Ltd
QBT Pty Ltd (QBT) is the sole provider of travel booking services to the Australian Government. QBT’s appointment supersedes the previous panel arrangement. Compared to the previous contract, a single provider will:
- Unify pricing of services across entities;
- Ensure consistency in systems, services and training;
- Take advantage of technology improvements and enhanced online booking management to provide savings and efficiencies;
- Provide a single source of travel data and reporting; and
- Consolidate duty of care, security and emergency response services and processes (including internationally);
Entities will transition to QBT progressively through until 30 June 2015. The contract will be fully operational for all NCEs and participating CCEs by 1 July 2015.
Entities will be able to seamlessly book domestic and international travel requirements - including air travel, accommodation and car rental - through QBT’s online booking tool, Amadeus e-Travel Management (AeTM).
QBT’s travel consultants are available to manage more complex travel requirements such as complicated international travel, group bookings and special travel requirements.
