P3M3™ Assessment Report
The Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance) is implementing the Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) as a common methodology for assessing its organisational capability to commission, manage and realise benefits from ICT-enabled investments. In 2010 Finance conducted an independently validated P3M3 self-assessment of its ICT capability in portfolio, programme and project management.Â The following assessment report was produced:
In 2012 Finance conducted a self assessment of the ICT enabled change portfolio. The self-assessment was supported by an Accredited Consulting Organisation (ACO) Blue Visions Management Pty Ltd (blueVisions). The following assessment report was produced:

Finance is currently implementing a capability improvement plan, prepared in November 2012, targeting key aspects identified in the 2012 P3M3 Assessment Report.
