Overview of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework

The purpose of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework (Property Framework) is to facilitate informed decision-making processes and to establish the foundation for the efficient, effective, economical and ethical use of Commonwealth property resources.

The following guidance has been prepared to provide an overview of the policies of the Property Framework.

RMG 500 Overview of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework

This Resource Management Guide (RMG) No. 500 assists Non-corporate Commonwealth Entities (entities) comply with the Public Governance and Performance Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and relevant policies.

The Overview includes the latest changes to the Lease Endorsement Process, as outlined in RMG No. 504 Commonwealth Property Management Framework Lease Endorsement Process.
